1974 – till now – employment – Nicolaus Copernicus Medical Academy – currently Jagiellonian University – Medical College

PhD – 1985 – Nicolaus Copernicus Medical Academy – currently Jagiellonian University – Medical College – structure of immunoglobulin

1987-1989 – Cornell University Ithaca NY USA – prof. Harold A. Scheraga’s group – two-years post-doc position – protein structure

Habilitation – 1996 – Faculty of Biotechnology – Jagiellonian University – Structure-function relation in proteins  

Professor in medical sciences – 2005 – Collegium Medicum – Jagiellonian University

2002-2020 – chief of Department of Bioinformatics and Telemedicine – Jagiellonian University – Medical College

Polish Chief of European grant: EuChinaGrid – awarded by Health Minister – ”Brussels sprout” (Brussels – the capital of Europe – in polish language verbal coincidence with the name of vegetable)

 

Scientific interest:  – protein structure, function of proteins, amyloidosis

Research in close collaboration with experimentalists – Prof. Leszek Konieczny – Chair of Medical Biochemistry – Jagiellonian University – Medical College.
